How can I stop my dogs from peeing on the carpet?
If it is a medical condition, then, of course, you first have to focus on taking care of your pooch until they recover. Once they have recovered, they should stop peeing on the carpets.
If you are in the training phase, then you mix some vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray your carpets. The smell of vinegar will probably help your dog stay away from peeing on your carpets.
How to clean dog pee on the carpet?
You might be wondering how are you supposed to remove dog pee from your carpets, well, I have got your back!
There are actually some products that are marketed as dog urine carpet cleaners because this is actually a widespread issue that many dog owners face.
Recall that vinegar and water mix; you can also use that to clean your carpets. Make sure that you mix equal parts of vinegar and water ( fifty percent vinegar and fifty percent water), and that should help you clean the pee off of your carpets.
However, you are going to need the following items as well to eliminate the odor of the urine and removes the stains
- Dish soap
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Baking soda
- A firm bristle brush
- A cloth towel
