People in Sout Mississippi are sharing the videos taken by a man called Clay LedKin last Saturday that show the terrible conditions three dogs are living in.
The video also shows one dog that has already deceased and it seems that it has been dead for a while as there are already maggots.
In the first video, Clay shows the dogs tired up on a property close to his house. Despite one of the dogs consistently barking at him, the dogs are actually in a terrible condition. They are very malnourished and emaciated.
If Clay hadn’t discovered them, the dogs would have been dead before the weekend.
The video quickly went viral and got hundreds of comments, and in those comments, the story was revealed a bit more.
The owner is not ignorant nor trash,he is good people that very much loved and took very good care of his animals, unfortunately he developed serious cancer and has been on his death bed, it is not his fault this happened.
Now it is however his family’s failure to take responsibility and in no way shape or form do i condone the way the animals ended up being, it was and is very pitiful. I myself, if had been home and knew about the situation i would have done something about it much sooner but unfortunately that was not the case and am now seeing this through social media.

Clay had also tried his best to try and get someone to save the poor dogs.
I called every phone number i could come up with. Everybody closed on Saturday. A friend of mine actually called the police. They showed up at my shop next door. He tried to get something done, but no help until Tuesday. Monday is Black Day, So I’m going to try to take care of the remaining 3 until they can do something.

Thankfully, the good side of the internet came to his aid.
I posted it on the internet to try and get some help on Facebook, and oh my goodness, the response was just overwhelming. My phone would never stop.
So many messages, I couldn’t even answer all of them. People brought out food and shelter, and they put hay in their pens and some blankets
Word eventually spread even further. Late Sunday night, a rescue attempt was made and, while one of the dogs got away, two of the pups are now safe.
Yeah I was really concerned about the three legged girl dog, She wouldn’t have made it through the weekend. I hope she gets a good home. She is a sweet dog
One of the dogs is now at the Hancock County Animal Shelter. The other is in foster care. The third dog ran away when they tried to rescue the animals.
