After being in icy waters and freezing temperature, Maverick was quickly warmed up so he wouldn’t have hypothermia.
The German Shepherd also had a cut in his paw. Fortunately, Maverick’s dog parents took him to the vet where he was okay and was doing well.
But, how was Maverick’s dog parents identified? Maverick’s dog parents were easily recognized because he was wearing a tag that had their phone number on it.
Later, after Maverick fully recovers, his dog parents plan to bring him to the fire station so he would meet the firefighters and paramedics who saved his life.
