A man named Travis Combs from Kentucky saw a problem in his city where stray dogs didn’t have access to food.
There are also pet parents who don’t have enough money to feed their pets so they become hungry because of the lack of food.
So, Travis decided to build a blessing box full of pet supplies; It has different foods, treats, and other pet-related products.
This great idea was developed by Travis because of his passion for rescuing dogs.
In fact, he has many rescue dogs at home so he wanted to build something to provide food for pets and strays.
The food box was shaped like a dog house painted in red with a cute bone-shaped sign that read “Pet Food Blessing Box”.
Regardless of the dog-shaped house, it isn’t exclusive to dogs. You can also donate items and supplies suitable for cats as well as other animals.
The “Pet Food Blessing Box” is located outside an antique store called TiKi’s Treasure in Jackson, Kentucky.
The box is always unlocked so any pet parents can come to take anything that they want or to even feed stray animals.
In addition, people can also leave donations like food, treats, pee pads, or toys inside the Pet Food Blessing Box.
The more people donate, the better it is to solve the problem of animals not having food.
Every donation helps those communities that don’t have enough food and other supplies for animals.
