On January, 9th, residents of a Texas Neighborhood called the police about a loose dog that terrified them and made them feel trapped at their homes.
The dog was wandering around the complex aimlessly, and no one knew what or who was the dog looking for.
Deputy Leah Sipe responded to the call and quickly headed to the apartment complex near the intersection of Aldine Westfield Road and Woodcreek Lane.
Judging by the call, Sipe must have expected a much more serious encounter. However, when she showed up, the showed the dog a bag of dog food to lure him to the car and was very pleasantly surprised when the dog immediately came over.
The dog quickly jumped into her patrol vehicle and made friends with her, and Sipe quickly found out that she may have just met the nicest dog ever.
She contacted animal control that was not able to respond at the time of the call. She then asked an off-duty officer and his wife to take care of the pup until Animal Control could take over, and they gladly did so.
She then posted photos of the dog on social media, sharing that he is the “good-est boy” she has ever met.
The dog was returned to his owner at the end, and as it turned out, the pup was lost for about a week and was just looking for his way home.
What a sweet dog! He has the face of an angle ^^
