Andrew Beech, the 33-year-old former army, beat his dog to death, buried her, and tried to cover his crime by putting an “I’ll miss you so much.” note, and a RIP post on Facebook, showing people how sad he is, and how much he is going to miss his dog.
However, people around him didn’t buy it and they hired a detective to find out what really happened to this poor dog, because, according to StrokOnTrentLive, the neighbors used to hear him shouting aggressively at her all the time, and tell her: “Get out of my way”.
They also added that they saw him throwing her bed into the communal yard, and sometimes they heard the dog yelping and screaming from inside the department.
After hearing what the neighbors said, the investigation started and they went to the flat to find a blood-soaked dog bed and blood on the hallway walls. Also, after checking the dog, they found her with traumatic injuries everywhere, and that the cause of the death was blunt trauma.
The court heard beech, who according to StrokOnTrentLive, served in the army before. But, the court decided that he is guilty, so he has been jailed for 24 weeks, he also is banned indefinitely from keeping animals.
