Firefighters were able to rescue the dog that got stuck in a drain in Tulsa. The 90-pound dog was stuck in the drain and wasn’t able to get out of the drain, and it took the firefighters more than two hours of hard work to get the dog out.

The dog fell in the drain at a home near Apache and Gilcrease Museum road on Wednesday night at around 6 p.m. According to the homeowner, her house has sewer drains and big open water which is ho the dog fell in.
When the firefighters arrived, they spotted the dog around 50 feet away from the curb, and with the help of some of the kind neighbors as well as animal control, they were able to save the dog.
They also had to bring in PSO and O&G to make sure they didn’t hit any powerlines or pipes while rescuing the dog, which could’ve caused disastrous consequences.
The dog was also very stressed and the rescuers had to enlist the help of a professional dog trainer to calm down the dog and make the rescue go smoothly.
When they finally got the dog out, they put something over the hole to make sure the situations doesn’t repeat itself in the future. They will be looking into a more permanent solution in the future.
