Janine saw Cupid eating out of the trash so she tried to approach him but he was so frightened that he ran away to his safe place.
Cupid was so afraid that he scratched and jump on the front door of the house desperately wanting to get in.
Janine then offered Cupid some food but he ran away again. After chasing Cupid for some time, Janine managed to win his trust.
All she did was tell him that things are going to be alright.
“It sounds dumb but I swear he knew what I was saying to him. He literally came over and sat down and allowed me to leash him.” Guido said
Janine then took him in her car and drove to Speranza Animal Rescue.
When he arrived at the Rescue, he was a bit confused but happily wagging his tail when he met everyone.
“He has been nothing but the sweetest gentleman since coming to the rescue,” Janine said
