The poor dog was returned to shelter only 48 hours after it was adopted
For thousands of years, philosophers have debated whether humans are inherently good or inherently evil. This is not the case for dogs.
All dogs are inherently good. There are no evil dogs. Your dog is what you train them to be. Dogs are a reflection of their owner’s personalities.
That’s why this story is so heartbreaking. This dog was too good, which caused him to be abandoned, again!
The staff at Arizona Animal Welfare League was shocked when Binx was brought back to the shelter for being too good. What’s even more shocking is that Binx has been adopted only 48 hours earlier!
The family that has adopted him say that they were looking for more of a challenge. The shelter has posted the story online and it quickly went viral.
I think the only challenging part of me is how devastatingly handsome I am – I can’t get anything done here at the shelter because everyone is petting me, telling me what a good boy I am, and taking me for walks. So if you’re ready for a handsome, well-mannered pup, here I am

Thankfully, among the many that have fallen in love with Binx, one loving family actually went ahead and adopted the dog. He now has a forever home with a family that appreciates him for the good boy that he is.
Everyone! It happened! I have a family!! My new dad saw me on TV, but my new mom was out of town. When he picked her up from the airport, he said they had to make one stop: and it was to meet me! We fell in love immediately, and they live next to a mountain preserve so we can go hiking all the time
The shelter posted online
We are so happy for Binx. He is finally getting the love he deserves!
Share the story and remind people that a dog is for life, so when you make a decision to adopt a dog, let’s keep that in mind.
