It looks like there is more that we don’t know about the Coronavirus than what we do know about the Virus. After months of being told that wearing masks while going out is not necessary unless one is sick since the virus is not airborne, it looks like they were wrong.

It also looks like dogs can indeed spread COVID-19 and may get you infected, but not in the way you think it’s going to happen. Dogs don’t show symptoms of the virus, so they don’t get infected, but they can spread the virus around just like your clothes can; by their surfaces.

Even though dogs (and cats) can not be infected with the virus, it can stay on their coats and bodies when it lands on them, and when you play with them, the virus can then get to you.
