A German Shepherd police dog was stabbed by a man. To know more about the story, check the article.
The police received a call to the 600 block of Sheridan Avenue in Saginaw, Michigan.
“Officers responded to neighbor trouble, which eventually evolved into a domestic situation that evolved into a hostage situation,” Saginaw Police Chief Bob Ruth said.
Apparently, there was a 48 old years old man who was holding a person who lived with him hostage.
The police went with Deebo, a 5-year-old K-9 dog, to save the hostage as well as arrest the man who was holding the hostage.
Unfortunately, the dispute quickly escalated and Deebo was stabbed by the man with a knife in his head.
Officers then shot the man down with gunfire and the man died. They are now on administrative leave per protocol and the investigation is Michigan State Police’s responsibility now.
Fortunately, they managed to save the hostage.
“Officers eventually rescued the hostage from the home,” said Police Chief Bob Ruth
However, Deebo was brutally wounded.
