Some dogs and animals can actually become very rich overnight. However, some don’t. This depends on different circumstances that led them to become rich.
This is the story of a German Shepherd named Gunther IV who was one of the lucky dogs to become the richest dog in the world.
His dog parent was Countess Karlotta Libenstein, who was a dog lover, passed away leaving Gunther III, Gunther IV’s father, a fortune.
When Gunther IV’s father died, he inherited from him this fortune which is equal to $106 million. But, this wasn’t the final amount of fortune that Gunther IV would later have.
Today, because of Gunther IV’s trustees’ investment in estate, the value of the estate became so huge and equals to $372 million.
The Trustees invested in lands that would later have Gunther IV mansions in different areas like the Bahamas, Germany and Italy, and a Miami.
These were worth a lot and became part of Gunther’s IV’s fortune.
These investment in lands grow each year increasing his fortune. In 2001, Gunther IV along with two minders bid for a 3 million lira truffle and won.
Even though, you may think that Gunther IV is happy with all the care and spoiling, some critics of Gunther IV’s life think that there is a real problem that is very harmful to his mental health.
The problem comes from the fact that he moves around the world with no permanent home so Gunther IV doesn’t have a sense of stability.
Regardless of being treated really well by the people around him to the point of being pampered, this can cause serious problems.
Excessive pampering for this high maintenance dog can create behavioral problems so it is best to have balance.
Gunther IV also doesn’t have a dog parent where, it is in a dog’s nature, to have a parent with them.
